What is Coaching?

Coaching is a partnership designed to provide a supportive space where you are able to reach greater clarity, understanding and direction in your life. We work together to explore different options, establish a plan of action and work through any obstacles. As your coach, I assist you in discovering the answers within you.

In coaching, the focus is on the present and the future, not on the past. I work from the premise that you are already a healthy and resourceful individual. I am a partner in fine tuning your life. Someone who will listen without judgment, encourage you to take risks, and acknowledge your successes.

How does it work?

There are many options to the coaching process. As you will see in the section Services Offered, I offer a variety of coaching approaches. This is an opportunity for you to consider what it is you are wanting to change in your life, what results are you working towards, who do you want to be from this moment forward. Together you and I will set up a coaching style and plan that will serve you the best.

One of the delightful pleasures you will find with coaching is that there is a direct relationship between how quickly things change in your life and the energy you put into coaching. The more consistently we work together, the more thoroughly you do your homework, the more often you practice a new behavior, the sooner you will see results.
